Organisation Background
Victor Stewarts is a new and dynamic estate agent based in Broadstairs. It specialises in residential and commercial property, helping customers find their ideal accommodation in North East Kent.

Situation
Following a negative period in Victor Stewarts’ branches, prior to June 2013, the company wanted to build positive awareness about its services amongst both potential buyers and sellers in the Thanet area of Kent. The property business is an extremely competitive one, and like other estate agents across the country, Victor Stewarts wanted to raise its profile locally and inform customers about its fresh approach.

Solution
Victor Stewarts decided that the best way to market their services was through direct marketing, and they chose to work with Dor-2-Dor on a series of leaflet drops in and around Broadstairs.

After meeting an initial meeting, with Dor-2-Dor, Drew Bennett the local franchisee advised Victor Stewarts about the best way to approach their marketing campaign and maximise the return on their investment.

It was decided that Dor-2-Dor would plan and implement three separate leaflet drops which would increasingly build awareness about the company and make sure that the information about Victor Stewart’s business was placed in the hands of a very wide reach of people.

For the first distribution, 10,000 leaflets were designed, printed and delivered around Broadstairs and the surrounding areas. This was then followed by a second drop of 5,000 leaflets in central Broadstairs, and a third drop is currently being planned.

Results
Dor-2-Dor has so far completed two out of three scheduled leaflet distributions in Broadstairs for Victor Stewarts.
The first leaflet drop generated a number of new leads for the business and actually resulted in a property sale being completed!
The second leaflet drop took place just before the start of the Easter period, and Victor Stewarts is hopeful that it will generate some new leads – and possibly sales – for them too!
